You know that feeling you get when you try on something new and it fits like it was made just for you? I love that feeling and had it recently when I tried on my new cream Treedolls dress. I bought it on a whim for an anniversary meal, doubting that my post pregnancy body would squeeze into it. I was tempted to save it for when I had shifted the weight but how wrong was I? As soon as I slipped this beauty on, it fitted like a glove! Not only did it fit but it felt as comfy as a t-shirt and the draped finish gave the classy dinner date effect I was after.
So I did what you do when you find such a treasure. I bought it in navy, maroon, beige… I might get it in black but I’m trying to step away from the darkness that has become my wardrobe and start adding pops of colour for SS 2015.
For me Treedolls is All Saints meets Rag & Bone with a kind of Zadig & Voltaire flair. It’s great, well tailored fashion at high street prices, available online at www.treedolls.com. Inspired by the big smoke and fashion capital, the line is completely manufactured in London.
What I like about the Treedolls clothing line is that I can dress many of these items up and down e.g. the dress with skinny jeans, pointy flats, a cardy and oversized tote, full of baby essentials and laptop for a casual day look. Swap the jeans for leggings and flats for heels, accessorise with some jewellery and grab a clutch and maybe a blazer for a smarter evening look. I feel comfortable whilst running after a toddler and a baby and I can make the most of those precious 10 minutes I have to get ready.
I bought the polka dot shirt too which is perhaps a bit longer than I’d like, but I’ve worn it loads! I have been complimented on the dresses so many times and I know it was worth buying in every colour (not sure my wallet agrees but hey!) Don’t take our word for it, check them out online at www.treedolls.com.
Word on the grapevine is they are soon to launch their SS 2015 collection online, as showcased at this year’s Saverah Women Expo’15 Fashion Show. Definitely one to watch and worthy of a bookmark; move over Zara, I might have a new high street favourite!
